  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the Florida Retirement

  3         System; declaring legislative intent to revise

  4         the laws governing the system; providing an

  5         effective date.

  7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  8

  9         Section 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to

10  enact legislation revising the laws governing the Florida

11  Retirement System.

12         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2001.
