11  Senator Sanderson moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
14         On page 5, between lines 22 and 23,
15  
16  insert:  
17         Section 3.  Subsection (8) is added to section 15.16,
18  Florida Statutes, to read:
19         15.16  Reproduction of records; admissibility in
20  evidence; electronic receipt and transmission of records;
21  certification; acknowledgment.--
22         (8)  The Department of State may use government or
23  private sector contractors in the promotion or provision of
24  any electronic filing services and may discount the filing fee
25  in an amount equal to the convenience charge for such
26  electronic filings.
27         Section 4.  Paragraph (b) of subsection (2) of section
28  607.193, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
29         607.193  Supplemental corporate fee.--

31         (b)  In addition to the fees levied under ss. 607.0122,

 2  late charge of $400 shall be imposed if the supplemental
 3  corporate fee is remitted after May 1 except in circumstances
 4  in which a business entity did not receive the uniform
 5  business report prescribed by the department.

12         On page 1, line 18, after the semicolon,

14  insert:
15         amending s. 15.16, F.S.; authorizing the
16         department to discount a filing fee in an
17         amount equal to the convenience charge imposed
18         for an electronic record filing by way of a
19         contractor; amending s. 607.193, F.S.; waiving
20         the charge for late filings of supplemental
21         corporate fees when the business entity did not
22         receive the uniform business report prescribed
23         by the department;
