  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to trust funds; creating s.

  3         20.505, F.S.; creating the Administrative Trust

  4         Fund within the Agency for Workforce

  5         Innovation; providing for purposes; providing

  6         for annual carryforward of funds; providing for

  7         future review and termination or re-creation of

  8         the trust fund; providing an effective date.

10  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11

12         Section 1.  Section 20.505, Florida Statutes, is

13  created to read:

14         20.505  Administrative Trust Fund of the Agency for

15  Workforce Innovation.--

16         (1)  The Administrative Trust Fund is created within

17  the Agency for Workforce Innovation.

18         (2)  Funds shall be used for the purpose of supporting

19  the administrative functions of the agency as required by law,

20  pursuant to legislative appropriation or an approved amendment

21  to the agency's operating budget pursuant to the provisions of

22  chapter 216.

23         (3)  Notwithstanding the provisions of s. 216.301 and

24  pursuant to s. 216.351, any balance in the trust fund at the

25  end of any fiscal year shall remain in the trust fund at the

26  end of the year and shall be available for carrying out the

27  purposes of the trust fund.

28         (4)  Pursuant to the provisions of s. 19(f)(2), Art.

29  III of the State Constitution, the trust fund shall, unless

30  terminated sooner, be terminated on July 1, 2005. Prior to its

  1  scheduled termination, the trust fund shall be reviewed as

  2  provided in s. 215.3206(1) and (2).

  3         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2001.
