11 The Procedural & Redistricting Council offered the following:

13 Amendment to Amendment (224339) (with title amendment)
14 Beginning on page 2, line 25 through page 3, line 4
15 remove from the amendment: all of said lines
16
17 and insert in lieu thereof:
18 Section 4. An individual or accompanying family member
19 who has been discharged or separated from the uniformed
20 services, Merchant Marine, or from employment outside the
21 territorial limits of the United States, after the book
22 closing for an election pursuant to s. 97.055, who is
23 otherwise qualified, may register to vote in such election
24 until 5 p.m. on the Friday before that election. Such persons
25 must produce sufficient documentation showing evidence of
26 qualifying for late registration pursuant to this section.
27 The Department of State shall adopt rules specifying
28 documentation that is sufficient to determine eligibility.
