14         On page 4 of the bill, between lines 28 & 29,

16  insert:  
17         Section 2.  Paragraph (b) of subsection (2) of section
18  121.0515, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
19         121.0515  Special risk membership.--
20         (2)  CRITERIA.--A member, to be designated as a special
21  risk member, must meet the following criteria:
22         (b)  The member must be employed as a firefighter and
23  be certified, or required to be certified, in compliance with
24  s. 633.35 and be employed solely within the fire department of
25  a local government theemployer or an agency of state
26  government with firefighting responsibilities.  In addition,
27  the member's duties and responsibilities must include
28  on-the-scene fighting of fires or direct supervision of
29  firefighting units or aerial firefighting surveillance
30  performed by fixed-wing pilots employed by the Department of
31  Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Forestry, or

 2  member or members who have such responsibilities; provided,
 3  however, administrative support personnel, including, but not
 4  limited to, those whose primary duties and responsibilities
 5  are in accounting, purchasing, legal, and personnel, shall not
 6  be included;
