  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the Legislature; fixing the

  3         date for convening the regular session of the

  4         Legislature in the year 2002; providing an

  5         effective date.

  7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  8

  9         Section 1.  In accordance with subsection (b) of

10  section 3 of Article III of the State Constitution and in lieu

11  of the date fixed therein, the 2002 Regular Session of the

12  Legislature shall convene on January 15, 2002.

13         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

14  law.
