  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to education; expressing the

  3         legislative intent to provide for improved

  4         safety in schools; providing an effective date.

  6  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  7

  8         Section 1.  The Legislature intends to provide for the

  9  improved safety of students in the schools of this state.

10         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2001.
