15 remove from the bill: all of said lines

17 and insert in lieu thereof:
18 year 2001-2002. The selected project shall meet at least one
19 of the following criteria:
20 1. The project supports establishment of a dependable,
21 sustainable supply of water which is not otherwise financially
22 feasible;
23 2. The project provides substantial environmental
24 benefits by preventing or limiting adverse water resource
25 impacts, but requires funding assistance to be economically
26 competitive with other options; or
27 3. The project significantly implements reuse,
28 capture, storage, recharge, or conservation of water in a
29 manner that contributes to the sustainability of regional
30 water sources.
31 Projects that create new sources in order to help implement a
