  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to long-term-care facilities;

  3         expressing the legislative intent to amend laws

  4         relating to the quality of care provided by

  5         long-term-care facilities and laws authorizing

  6         actions for negligence against such facilities;

  7         providing an effective date.

  9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

10

11         Section 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to

12  amend laws relating to the quality of care provided by

13  long-term-care facilities and laws authorizing actions for

14  negligence against such facilities.

15         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

16  law.
