  1                    Senate Resolution No. ____

  2         A resolution honoring Sheila Ann Hill for more

  3         than 15 years of dedicated service to the

  4         Florida Legislature.

  5

  6         WHEREAS, Sheila Ann Hill commenced working for the

  7  House of Representatives in March 1986 and moved to the Senate

  8  Education Committee early in 1995, and

  9         WHEREAS, Sheila Ann Hill has worked for the Legislature

10  for more than 15 years, and

11         WHEREAS, Sheila Ann Hill has tirelessly served the

12  Florida Senate with an incomparable work ethic, always

13  producing work of the highest quality and clarity, and

14         WHEREAS, Sheila Ann Hill has always gone the extra

15  mile, such as remaining at work during the entire 1997 special

16  session on educational facilities, and

17         WHEREAS, Sheila Ann Hill is a warm and loving person

18  whose heart and home have always been open to the stray, sick,

19  and injured, whether it be a bird or other animal or a young

20  person in need of a temporary safe haven, and

21         WHEREAS, Sheila Ann Hill has been physically unable to

22  continue working due to illness, and

23         WHEREAS, Sheila Ann Hill is loved and sorely missed by

24  her co-workers and friends in the Education Committee and the

25  Florida Senate, NOW, THEREFORE,

27  Be It Resolved by the Senate of the State of Florida:

28

29         That this legislative body does pause in its

30  deliberations to extend its thoughts and prayers to Sheila at

31

  1  this time and that the Florida Senate in session assembled

  2  does hereby record this testimonial of love and appreciation.

  3         BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution,

  5  Ann Hill as a tangible token of the sentiments of the members

  6  and staff of the Florida Senate.
