11  The Committee on Governmental Oversight and Productivity
12  recommended the following amendment:

14         Senate Amendment 
15         On page 13, lines 14-21, delete those lines
16  
17  and insert:  the state shall be an amount equal to the cost of
18  tuition and matriculation and registration , matriculation,
19  and other statutorily authorized fees for a total of 120
20  credit hours for a vocational-technical certificate or an
21  undergraduate education. For a child pursuing a graduate or
22  postbaccalaureate professional degree, the amount waived shall
23  equal the cost of tuition, matriculation, and other
24  statutorily authorized fees incurred while the child continues
25  to fulfill the professional requirements associated with the
26  graduate or postbaccalaureate professional degree
