14 On page 1, lines 20 through 24,
15 remove from the bill: all of said lines
16
17 and insert in lieu thereof: education participation
18 requirements, if the eligible dependent child or eligible
19 teenage participant has been identified either as a habitual
20 truant, pursuant to s. 228.041(28), or as a dropout, pursuant
21 to s. 228.041(29). For a student who has been identified as a
22 habitual truant, the temporary cash assistance must be
23 reinstated after a subsequent grading period in which the
24 child has substantially improved the child's attendance. For a
25 student who has been identified as a dropout, the temporary
26 cash assistance must be reinstated after the student enrolls
27 in a public school, receives a high school diploma or its
28 equivalency, enrolls in preparation for the General
29 Educational Development Tests, or enrolls in other educational
30 activities approved by the district school board. Good cause
