15         On page 1, between lines 16 and 17,

17  insert:  
18         163.01  Florida Interlocal Cooperation Act of 1969.--
19         (3)  As used in this section:
20         (b)  "Public agency" means a political subdivision,
21  agency, or officer of this state or of any state of the United
22  States, including, but not limited to, state government,
23  county, city, school district, single and multipurpose special
24  district, single and multipurpose public authority,
25  metropolitan or consolidated government, an independently
26  elected county officer, any agency of the United States
27  Government, a federally recognized Native American tribe, and
28  any similar entity of any other state of the United States.
