14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 7, between lines 14 and 15,
16  
17  insert:  
18         Section 7.  Paragraph (f) is added to subsection (3) of
19  section 489.537, Florida Statutes, to read:
20         489.537  Application of this part.--
21         (3)  Nothing in this act limits the power of a
22  municipality or county:
23         (f)  To require that a licensed electrical journeyman
24  be present on an industrial or commercial new construction
25  site of 50,000 square feet or more when electrical work is
26  being performed in order to supervise or perform such work,
27  except as provided in s. 489.503. The Department of Business
28  and Professional Regulation shall adopt rules to implement a
29  required statewide registration designation for electrical
30  journeyman for industrial and commercial job sites to take
31  effect January 1, 2003.
