13         Amendment to Amendment (971815) 

14         On page 2, lines 13-18,

15  remove from the amendment:  all of said lines

17  and insert in lieu thereof:

18         (c)  An applicant approved for an adult open heart

19  surgery program consistent with this subsection shall perform

20  a 12-month total of at least 250 open heart surgery operations

21  during the third year that such procedures are being

22  performed. Failure to meet this requirement is subject to

23  agency action to terminate a hospital's authorization to

24  provide any open heart surgery operations.
