11  The Council for Smarter Government offered the following:
12  
13         Amendment (with title amendment) 
14         On page 2, between lines 11 and 12, of the bill
15  
16  insert:  
17         Section 3.  Paragraph (b) of subsection (39) of section
18  121.021, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
19         (39)
20         (b)  "Termination" for a member electing to participate
21  under the Deferred Retirement Option Program occurs when the
22  Deferred Retirement Option Program participant ceases all
23  employment relationships with employers under this system in
24  accordance with s. 121.091(13), but in the event the Deferred
25  Retirement Option Program participant should be employed by
26  any such employer within the next calendar month, except for
27  part-time employees catagories, termination will be deemed not
28  to have occurred, except as provided in s. 121.091(13)(b)4.c.
29  A leave of absence shall constitute a continuation of the
30  employment relationship.
