17         Section 2.  Paragraph (b) of subsection (2) of section
18  121.0515, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
19         121.0515  Special risk membership.--
20         (2)  CRITERIA.--A member, to be designated as a special
21  risk member, must meet the following criteria:
22         (b)  The member must be employed as a firefighter and
23  be certified, or required to be certified, in compliance with
24  s. 633.35 and be employed solely within the fire department of
25  the employer or agency of state government.  In addition, the
26  member's duties and responsibilities must include on-the-scene
27  fighting of fires, fire prevention or firefighter training, or
28  direct supervision of firefighting units, fire prevention or
29  firefighter training, or the member must be the supervisor or
30  command officer of a member or members who have such
31  responsibilities; provided, however, administrative support
