14 On page 1, between lines 15 and 16,

16 insert:
17 Section 2. Paragraph (b) of subsection (3) of section
18 163.01, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
19 163.01 Florida Interlocal Cooperation Act of 1969.--
20 (3) As used in this section:
21 (b) "Public agency" means a political subdivision,
22 agency, or officer of this state or of any state of the United
23 States, including, but not limited to, state government,
24 county, city, school district, single and multipurpose special
25 district, single and multipurpose public authority,
26 metropolitan or consolidated government, an independently
27 elected county officer, any agency of the United States
28 Government, a federally recognized Native American tribe, and
29 any similar entity of any other state of the United States.
