14         On page 31, line 13, through page 32, line 13,
15  remove from the bill:  all of said lines

17  and insert in lieu thereof:  
18         Section 18.  (1)  Implementation of the challenge
19  grants created in s. 420.622, Florida Statutes, and associated
20  administrative costs incurred by the State Office on
21  Homelessness and the Council on Homelessness is contingent on
22  available appropriations in the annual General Appropriation
23  Act for such purpose.
24         (2)  Implementation of the grant-in-aid program
25  specified in s. 420.625, Florida Statutes, within the
26  Department of Children and Family Services to support one
27  position in each of the 25 local homeless coalitions in
28  Florida is contingent on available appropriations in the
29  annual General Appropriation Act for such purpose.
30         (3)  Increase in funding for the grant-in-aid program
31  specified in s. 420.625, Florida Statutes, within the

 1  Department of Children and Family Services, is contingent on
 2  available appropriations in the annual General Appropriation
 3  Act for such purpose.
 4         (4)  The sum of $5 million is transferred for fiscal
 5  year 2001-2002 from the Local Government Housing Trust Fund in
 6  the Florida Housing Finance Corporation to the Administrative
 7  Trust Fund within the Department of Children and Family
 8  Services.  The sum of $5 million in fixed capital outlay is
 9  hereby appropriated to the State Office on Homelessness within
10  the Department of Children and Family Services from the
11  Administrative Trust Fund for fiscal year 2001-2002 to fund
12  homeless housing assistance grants.
