13         Amendment (with title amendment) 
14         On page 4, between lines 4 and 5, of the bill
15  
16  insert:  
17         (8)(a)  There is created the Florida Task Force to
18  Curtail Gun Violence in Public Schools.
19         (b)  The purpose of the task force is to study the
20  problem of gun violence in public schools and make
21  recommendations for effective means of curtailing it.
22         (c)  The task force shall have twelve members, all
23  appointed by the Governor, and shall include at least one
24  member representing the National Rifle Association, one
25  representing United Sportsmen of Florida, one representing the
26  Parent-Teacher Associations of Florida, one representing the
27  Florida Education Association, one representing the Florida
28  School Boards Association, one representing the Florida
29  Medical Association, three who are parents of children in
30  Florida public schools, and three who are students in Florida
31  public secondary schools.
