16  and insert:  
17         (a)  The advisory council shall consist of 15 members,
18  including:
19         1.  The director of the United Way of Florida, Inc., or
20  his or her designee;
21         2.  The director of the Foster Parents Association, or
22  his or her designee;
23         3.  The chair of the Department of Elderly Affairs
24  Advisory Council, or his or her designee;
25         4.  The president of the Florida Association of Area
26  Agencies on Aging, or his or her designee;
27         5.  The State Long-Term Care Ombudsman, or his or her
28  designee;
29         6. The state director of the Florida AARP, or his or
30  her designee;
31         7.  The director of the Florida Pediatric Society, or

A representative of a statewide child advocacy 9 organization, appointed by the Governor; 10 12. One consumer caregiver for children, appointed by 11 the Governor; 12 13. One person over the age of 60 years to represent 13 the interests of elders, appointed by the Governor; 14 14. One person under the age of 18 years to represent 15 the interests of children, appointed by the Governor; and 16 15.
