14         On page 2, lines 1-24,
15  remove from the bill:  all of said lines

17  and insert in lieu thereof:  
18  probable financial impact of any amendment proposed by
19  initiative pursuant to Section 3.
20         (c)(b)  Once in the tenth week, and once in the sixth
21  week immediately preceding the week in which the election is
22  held, the proposed amendment or revision, with notice of the
23  date of election at which it will be submitted to the
24  electors, shall be published in one newspaper of general
25  circulation in each county in which a newspaper is published.
26         (d)(c)  If the proposed amendment or revision is
27  approved by vote of the electors, it shall be effective as an
28  amendment to or revision of the constitution of the state on
29  the first Tuesday after the first Monday in January following
30  the election, or on such other date as may be specified in the
31  amendment or revision.

 1         BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in accordance with the
 2  requirements of section 101.161, Florida Statutes, the title
 3  and substance of the amendment proposed herein shall appear on
 4  the ballot as follows:
 5                  ECONOMIC IMPACT STATEMENTS FOR
 6         PROPOSED CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS OR REVISIONS
 7         Requires the Legislature to provide by general law for
 8  the provision of an economic impact statement to the public
 9  prior to the public voting on an amendment of the Florida
10  Constitution proposed by initiative.
