15 On page 4,between lines 12 and 13 of the bill
16
17 insert:
18 Section 7. By January 1, 2003, the department shall
19 provide to the Governor, the President of the Senate and the
20 Speaker of the House a report on the Pasco County pilot
21 program. The report also shall evaluate the need to expand
22 the Local Government Utilities Assistance Program to address
23 the acquisition or consolidation of publicly owned
24 water-wastewater utilities that threaten water quality or
25 public health. The report shall recommend any statutory
26 changes necessary to implement the Local Government Utilities
27 Assistance Program and identify any rules that would be useful
28 in implementing the program.
