  2         An act relating to the re-creation of the

  3         Conservation and Recreation Lands Program Trust

  4         Fund without modification; re-creating the

  5         Conservation and Recreation Lands Program Trust

  6         Fund; carrying forward current balances and

  7         continuing current sources and uses thereof;

  8         repealing s. 372.127(3), F.S., which provides

  9         for the future termination of the trust fund;

10         providing an effective date.

12         WHEREAS, the Legislature wishes to extend the life of

13  the Conservation and Recreation Lands Program Trust Fund,

14  which is otherwise scheduled to be terminated pursuant to

15  constitutional mandate, and

16         WHEREAS, the Legislature has reviewed the trust fund

17  before its scheduled termination date and has found that it

18  continues to meet an important public purpose, and

19         WHEREAS, the Legislature has found that existing public

20  policy concerning the trust fund sets adequate parameters for

21  its use, NOW, THEREFORE,

23  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

24

25         Section 1.  (1)  The Conservation and Recreation Lands

26  Program Trust Fund within the Fish and Wildlife Conservation

27  Commission, FLAIR Number 77-2-931, which was created by

28  chapter 2000-288, Laws of Florida, and which is to be

29  terminated pursuant to Section 19(f), Article III of the State

30  Constitution on July 1, 2004, is re-created.

  1         (2)  All current balances of the trust fund are carried

  2  forward, and all current sources and uses of the trust fund

  3  are continued.

  4         Section 2.  Subsection (3) of section 372.127, Florida

  5  Statutes, as created by section 1 of chapter 2000-288, Laws of

  6  Florida, is repealed.

  7         Section 3.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2004.
