  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to trust funds; terminating a

  3         specified trust fund within the Department of

  4         Management Services and providing for the

  5         disposition of its remaining balance and

  6         revenues; declaring the findings of the

  7         Legislature that specified trust funds within

  8         the Department of Management Services are

  9         exempt from the termination requirements of s.

10         19(f), Art. III of the State Constitution;

11         repealing s. 110.151(7), F.S., relating to

12         reestablishment of the State Employee Child

13         Care Revolving Trust Fund, to conform;

14         providing effective dates.

16  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

18         Section 1.  Effective June 30, 2002, the State Employee

19  Child Care Revolving Trust Fund within the Department of

20  Management Services, FLAIR number 72-2-670, is terminated. The

21  remaining balance and revenues in this fund shall be deposited

22  in the State Personnel System Trust Fund, FLAIR number

23  72-2-678.

24         Section 2.  The Legislature finds that the following

25  trust funds within the Department of Management Services are

26  exempt from termination pursuant to Section 19(f), Article III

27  of the State Constitution:

28         (1)  The Florida Retirement System Trust Fund, FLAIR

29  number 72-2-309.

30         (2)  The Florida Facilities Pool Clearing Trust Fund,

31  FLAIR number 72-2-313.

21         Section 3.  Subsection (7) of section 110.151, Florida

22  Statutes, is repealed.

23         Section 4.  Except as otherwise provided herein, this

24  act shall take effect July 1, 2001.

27                       LEGISLATIVE SUMMARY

      Terminates a specified trust fund within the Department
29    of Management Services.  Repeals a provision of law, to
      conform.  Declares the findings of the Legislature that
30    specified trust funds within the Department of Management
      Services are exempt from the termination requirements of
