  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to road designations;

  3         designating a portion of State Road 121 as the

  4         "Ed Fraser Memorial Highway;" designating a

  5         portion of State Road 16 as the Correctional

  6         Officers Memorial Highway; directing the

  7         Department of Transportation to erect suitable

  8         markers; providing an effective date.

10  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

12         Section 1.  Ed Fraser Memorial Highway designation;

13  markers.--

14         (1) State Road 121, from the Georgia-Florida line in

15  Baker County to the city limits of Lake Butler in Union County

16  is hereby designated as the Ed Fraser Memorial Highway.

17         (2) The Department of Transportation is hereby directed

18  to erect suitable markers designating the Ed Fraser Memorial

19  Highway as described in subsection (1).

20         Section 2.  Correctional Officers Memorial Highway

21  designated.--

22         (1)  That portion of State Road 16 from the

23  northwestern Starke City limits in Bradford County to State

24  Road 121 in Union County is hereby designated as the

25  "Correctional Officers Memorial Highway."

26         (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to

27  erect suitable markers designating the Correctional Officers

28  Memorial Highway as described in subsection (1).

29         Section 3.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

30  law.
