  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to economic development;

  3         expressing the legislative intent to foster the

  4         growth of the sports and entertainment

  5         industries in the state; providing an effective

  6         date.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  9

10         Section 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to

11  enact policies that foster the development of the sports and

12  entertainment industries in the state in order to create jobs

13  and other economic opportunities for residents of the state.

14         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

15  law.
