13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
14         On page 26, between lines 30 and 31,
15  
16  insert:  
17         Section 20.  Paragraph (e) is added to subsection (5)
18  of section 427.705, Florida Statutes, to read:
19         (5)  The administrator shall provide for the
20  distribution of specialized telecommunications devices to
21  persons qualified to receive such equipment in accordance with
22  the provisions of this act.  The administrator shall establish
23  procedures for the distribution of specialized
24  telecommunications devices and shall solicit the advice and
25  counsel and consider the recommendations of the advisory
26  committee in establishing such procedures.  The procedures
27  shall:
28         (e)  Allow persons certified under paragraph (a) to
29  submit the application and required documentation for an
30  applicant for a specialized telecommunications device to the
31  administrator or any entity designated pursuant to paragraph

 1  (1)(a). Upon approval for specialized telecommunications
 2  device by the administrator or other designated person, the
 3  specialized telecommunications device shall be sent to the
 4  certifying person for delivery to the applicant. The
 5  administrator or designated person shall also provide to the
 6  certifying person a list of current distribution and
 7  maintenance centers designated under paragraph (1)(a) for
 8  delivery to the applicant.
