13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
14         On page 64, between lines 10 and 11,
15  
16  insert:  
17         Section 13.  Paragraphs (r) and (s) are added to
18  subsection (3) of section 408.036, Florida Statutes, to read:
19         408.036  Projects subject to review.--
20         (3)  EXEMPTIONS.--Upon request, the following projects
21  are subject to exemption from the provisions of subsection
22  (1):
23         (r)  For the conversion of hospital-based Medicare and
24  Medicaid certified skilled nursing beds to acute care beds, if
25  the conversion does not involve the construction of new
26  facilities.
27         (s)  For fiscal year 2001-2001 only, for transfer by a
28  health care system of existing services and not more than 100
29  licensed and approved beds from a hospital in district 1,
30  subdistrict 1, to another location within the same subdistrict
31  in order to establish a satellite facility that will improve
