  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to Broward County; providing

  3         for the relief of Eric Brady; authorizing and

  4         directing the Sheriff's Office of Broward

  5         County to compensate him for personal injuries

  6         caused by the sheriff's office; providing an

  7         effective date.

  9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11         Section 1.  The Sheriff's Office of Broward County is

12  authorized and directed to compensate Eric Brady in the amount

13  of $______, out of funds of the Broward County Sheriff's

14  Office not otherwise appropriated, for injuries and damages

15  caused by acts of the sheriff's office.

16         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

17  law.
