  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to workforce development;

  3         expressing the legislative intent to enact

  4         policies to ensure the successful

  5         implementation of the Workforce Innovation Act

  6         of 2000; providing an effective date.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  9

10         Section 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to

11  address any problems that have arisen in the implementation of

12  the Workforce Innovation Act of 2000, chapter 2000-165, Laws

13  of Florida, in order to ensure that the state is successful in

14  its efforts to enhance the quality of its workforce and

15  promote economic self-sufficiency among its residents.

16         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

17  law.
