14         On page 1, line 23 and on page 3, line 29 of the bill

16  after the period, insert:  Notwithstanding any other provision

17  of this section, no person who is convicted of a capital

18  offense shall be sentenced to death if the offense was

19  committed while the person was under 18 years of age.
