  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to identity theft; providing

  3         legislative intent; providing an effective

  4         date.

  6  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  7

  8         Section 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to

  9  provide victims of identity theft with the means to correct

10  consumer reports regarding credit worthiness when those

11  reports contain incomplete or inaccurate information as a

12  result of identity theft.

13         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

14  law.
