  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to privacy and public records;

  3         providing legislative intent with respect to

  4         privacy and public records; providing an

  5         effective date.

  7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  8

  9         Section 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to

10  ensure that the privacy of Floridians is protected. State

11  agencies are directed to review their procedures regarding

12  access to public records to ensure that exempt or confidential

13  information is not improperly released.

14         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

15  law.
