  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to economic stimulus;

  3         expressing the intent of the Legislature to

  4         enact policies to stimulate economic activity

  5         in the state; providing an effective date.

  7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  8

  9         Section 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to

10  enact policies designed to stimulate business, consumer, and

11  employment activity in the state in response to weakening

12  economic conditions stemming from the September 11, 2001,

13  terrorist attacks on the United States.

14         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

15  law.
