Explanation:
Transfers $83 million from the Budget Stabilization Fund to the General
Revenue Fund to restore health care services for the elderly and disabled
(MEDS-AD Program.)

        In Section 40  On Page 105

INSERT A NEW SECTION 40:

SECTION 40.  $83 million is hereby transferred from the Budget
Stabilization Fund to the General Revenue Fund to restore reductions in
this act in the following area, for the 2001-2002 fiscal year: Eliminate
the Meds/AD Program for Elderly and Disabled and Provide Coverage
through State-only Pharmacy Assistance Program.

Line item amendments are accepted as part of the amendatory process.  However, due to the necessity of using computerized systems this may entail a different placement
within a budget entity or the renumbering of the specific appropriation items.
