  2         A concurrent resolution authorizing use of the

  3         Chamber of the House of Representatives on

  4         December 4, 2001, for an assembly commemorating

  5         the National Day of Reconciliation.

  6  

  7         WHEREAS, the United States Congress has authorized the

  8  use of the United States Capitol Rotunda for an assembly

  9  commemorating a National Day of Reconciliation, and the State

10  of Florida wishes to join in this observation, NOW, THEREFORE,

11  

12  Be It Resolved by the House of Representatives of the State of

13  Florida, the Senate Concurring:

14  

15         That the Chamber of the House of Representatives of the

16  State of Florida is authorized to be used at any time on

17  December 4, 2001, for an assembly commemorating the National

18  Day of Reconciliation. On that day, the House of

19  Representatives and the Senate of the State of Florida shall

20  assemble in the Chamber with the Chaplain of the House of

21  Representatives and the Chaplain of the Senate in attendance.

22  During this assembly, the Members of the House of

23  Representatives and the Senate may gather to humbly seek the

24  blessings of Providence for forgiveness, reconciliation,

25  unity, and charity for all people of the United States,

26  thereby assisting the Nation to realize its potential as the

27  champion of hope, the vindicator of the defenseless, and the

28  guardian of freedom.
