  1                         House Resolution

  2         A resolution authorizing use of the Chamber of

  3         the House of Representatives on December 4,

  4         2001, for an assembly commemorating the

  5         National Day of Reconciliation.

  7         WHEREAS, the United States Congress has authorized the

  8  use of the United States Capitol Rotunda for an assembly

  9  commemorating a National Day of Reconciliation, and the House

10  of Representatives of the State of Florida wishes to join in

11  this observation, NOW, THEREFORE,

13  Be It Resolved by the House of Representatives of the State of

14  Florida:

15

16         That the Chamber of the House of Representatives of the

17  State of Florida is authorized to be used at any time on

18  December 4, 2001, for an assembly commemorating the National

19  Day of Reconciliation. On that day, the House of

20  Representatives of the State of Florida shall assemble in the

21  Chamber with the Chaplain of the House of Representatives in

22  attendance. During this assembly, the Members of the House of

23  Representatives may gather to humbly seek the blessings of

24  Providence for forgiveness, reconciliation, unity, and charity

25  for all people of the United States, thereby assisting the

26  Nation to realize its potential as the champion of hope, the

27  vindicator of the defenseless, and the guardian of freedom.
