  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the Florida Healthy Kids

  3         Corporation; eliminating the local-match

  4         requirement under the Florida Healthy Kids

  5         Program; providing for voluntary contributions;

  6         providing an effective date.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  9

10         Section 1.  Notwithstanding section 624.91, Florida

11  Statutes, local-matching funds are not required by the Florida

12  Healthy Kids Corporation for the Florida Healthy Kids Program.

13  The Florida Healthy Kids Corporation may accept voluntary

14  contributions.

15         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

16  law.

19                          SENATE SUMMARY

20    Eliminates the local-matching funds requirement for the
      Florida Healthy Kids Program. Authorizes the Florida
21    Healthy Kids Corporation to accept contributions.
