  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the Florida Public Service

  3         Commission; declaring legislative intent with

  4         respect to commission jurisdiction over digital

  5         subscriber line service; providing an effective

  6         date.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  9

10         Section 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to

11  enact legislation granting the Florida Public Service

12  Commission jurisdiction over digital subscriber line (DSL)

13  service.

14         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2002.
