13 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
14 On page 83, between lines 14 and 15,

16 insert:
17 Section 40. Subsection (2) of section 287.0931,
18 Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
19 287.0931 Minority business enterprises; participation
20 in bond underwriting.--
21 (2) To meet such participation requirement, the
22 minority firm must have full-time employees located in this
23 state, must have a permanent place of business located in this
24 state, and must be a firm which is at least 51-percent-owned
25 by minority persons as defined in s. 288.703(3). However, for
26 the purpose of bond underwriting only, the requirement that
27 the minority person be a permanent resident of this state
28 shall not apply.
