13         Senate Amendment 

14         On page 7, lines 24-31, delete those lines

15

16  and insert:  shall perform a random onsite inspection, within

17  60 days after receipt of a fully complete new provider's

18  application, of the provider's service location prior to

19  making its first payment to the provider for Medicaid services

20  to determine the applicant's ability to provide the services

21  that the applicant is proposing to provide for Medicaid

22  reimbursement. The agency is not required to perform an onsite

23  inspection of a provider or program that is licensed by the

24  agency, that provides services under wiver programs for home

25  and community-based services, or that is licensed as a medical

26  foster home by the Department of Children and Family Services.
