11  Senator Saunders moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment 

14         On page 49, line 26, through

15            page 50, line 3, delete those lines

17  and insert:  agency shall have the power to inspect, during

18  normal business hours, the records of any pharmacy, wholesale

19  establishment, or manufacturer, or any other place in which

20  drugs and medical supplies are manufactured, packed, packaged,

21  made, stored, sold, or kept for sale, for the purpose of

22  verifying the amount of drugs and medical supplies ordered,

23  delivered, or purchased by a provider. The agency shall

24  provide at least 2 business days' prior notice of any such

25  inspection. The notice must identify the provider whose

26  records will be inspected, and the inspection shall include

27  only records specifically related to that provider.
