13         Senate Amendment 

14         On page 28, line 25, through

15            page 29, line 2, delete those lines

16

17  and insert:  pursuant to this section, the agency shall

18  distribute the amount collected as follows:

19         1.  To itself, an amount equal to the state Medicaid

20  expenditures for the recipient plus any incentive payment made

21  in accordance with paragraph (14)(a). From this share the

22  agency shall credit a county on its county billing invoice the

23  county's proportionate share of Medicaid third-party

24  recoveries in the areas of estate recoveries and casualty

25  claims, minus the agency's cost of recovering the third-party

26  payments, based on the county's percentage of the sum of total

27  county billing divided by total Medicaid expenditures.
