1 A bill to be entitled
2 An act relating to the Division of Florida Land
3 Sales, Condominiums, and Mobile Homes; amending
4 s. 20.165, F.S.; providing for the organization
5 of the division into at least three bureaus;
6 prohibiting the transfer of certain funds
7 without prior authorization of the Legislature;
8 providing an effective date.

10 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

12 Section 1. Subsections (10) and (11) are added to
13 section 20.165, Florida Statutes, to read:
14 20.165 Department of Business and Professional
15 Regulation.--There is created a Department of Business and
16 Professional Regulation.
17 (10) Any other provision of law to the contrary
18 notwithstanding, the Division of Florida Land Sales,
19 Condominiums, and Mobile Homes shall be organized with at
20 least three bureaus to be known as the Bureau of Condominiums,
21 the Bureau of Timeshare, and the Bureau of Mobile Homes.
22 (11) No more than 10 percent of the moneys deposited
23 in the trust fund of the Division of Florida Land Sales,
24 Condominiums, and Mobile Homes shall be transferred to the
25 office of the secretary or to other parts of the department
26 during any fiscal year without the prior specific
27 authorization by the Legislature in the General Appropriations
28 Act.
29 Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2002.

least three bureaus. Provides that no more than 10
5 percent of the moneys deposited into the division trust
fund shall be transferred to the office of the secretary

specific authorization by the Legislature in the General
7 Appropriations Act.
