13         Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 34, between lines 2 and 3,

15

16  insert:

17         Section 24.  Subsection (4) and (5) are added to

18  section 320.275, Florida Statutes, to read:

19         320.275  Automobile Dealers Industry Advisory Board.--

20         (4)  A technical advisory committee is created to

21  advise the Automobile Dealers Industry Advisory Board.  The

22  committee, from its own initiative, may make recommendations

23  to the board on proposed legislation and proposed rules and

24  procedures, may consider any matters relating to the motor

25  vehicle dealer industry, and may make recommendations on

26  consumer education and information, and submit an annual

27  report to the board.  The technical advisory committee shall

28  be composed of one representative from a senior citizens

29  organization; one representative from an organization

30  representing low-income Floridians; one representative from

31  the consumer affairs division of a county or city; one

  1  representative from a nationally recognized consumer

  2  organization; one representative from an organization

  3  representing the disabled; and one representative from the

  4  office of the Attorney General.

  5         (5)  The office of the Attorney General, the Department

  6  of Agriculture and Consumer Services, and the Department of

  7  Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles shall coordinate and provide

  8  consumer education and information relative to this chapter.

16         amending s. 320.275, F.S.; creating a technical

17         advisory committee to the Automobile Dealers

19         duties and composition; requiring the office of

20         the Attorney General, the Department of

21         Agriculture and Consumer Services, and the

22         Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles

23         to provide consumer education and information;
