  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the taxation of

  3         communications services; expressing legislative

  4         intent relating to the taxation of

  5         communications services; providing an effective

  6         date.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  9

10         Section 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature that

11  laws and regulations relating to the taxation of

12  communications services should be fair to all consumers and

13  service providers, encourage competition, and expedite the

14  development of advanced technologies.

15         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

16  law.
