13         Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 6, between lines 3 & 4, of the bill

15

16  insert:

17         Section 2.  Subsection (4) of section 240.40202,

18  Florida Statutes, is renumbered as subsection (5) and a new

19  subsection (4) is added to said section to read:

20         240.40202  Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program;

21  student eligibility requirements for initial awards.--

22         (4)  Each school district shall annually provide to

23  each high school student a complete and accurate Florida

24  Bright Futures Scholarship Evaluation Report and Key. The

25  report shall be disseminated at the beginning of each school

26  year. The report must include all high school coursework

27  attempted, the number of credits earned toward each type of

28  award, and the calculation of the grade point average for each

29  award. The report must also identify all requirements not met

30  per award, including the grade point average requirement, as

31  well as identify the awards for which the student has met the

  2  disclosure that the grade point average calculated for

  3  purposes of the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program may

  4  differ from the grade point average on the report card.
