18 Section 5. Subsection (7) of section 63.05, Florida
19 Statutes, is amended to read:
20 63.052 Guardians designated; proof of commitment.--
21 (7) The court retains jurisdiction of a minor who has
22 been placed for adoption until the adoption is final. After a
23 minor is placed with an adoption entity or prospective
24 adoptive parent, the court may review the status of the minor
25 and the progress toward permanent adoptive placement. As part
26 of this continuing jurisdiction, for good cause shown by a
27 person whose consent to an adoption is required under s.
28 63.062, the adoption entity, the parents, persons having legal
29 custody of the minor, persons with custodial or visitation
30 rights to the minor, persons entitled to notice pursuant to
31 the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act or

1 the Indian Child Welfare Act, or upon the court's own motion,
