18 and insert:
19 (6)(a) Upon a material violation of any custody or
20 visitation order by removing a child from this state or this
21 country or by concealing the whereabouts of a child, the court
22 may order the bond or other security forfeited in whole or in
23 part.
24 (b) This section, including the requirement to post a
25 bond or other security, does not apply to a parent who, in a
26 proceeding to order or modify child custody or visitation, the
27 court determines is a victim of an act of domestic violence or
28 has reasonable cause to believe he or she is about to become
29 the victim of an act of domestic violence, as defined in
30 section 741.28, Florida Statutes. An injunction for protection
31 against domestic violence issued pursuant to section 741.30,

1 Florida Statutes, for a parent as the petitioner which is in
2 effect at the time of the court proceeding shall be one means
3 of demonstrating sufficient evidence that the parent is a
4 victim of domestic violence or is about to become the victim
5 of an act of domestic violence, as defined in section 741.28,
6 Florida Statutes, and shall exempt the parent from this
7 section, including the requirement to post a bond or other
8 security. A parent who is determined by the court to be exempt
9 from the requirements of this section must meet the
10 requirements of section 787.03(6), Florida Statutes, if an
11 offense of interference with custody is committed.
